The best way to get into the cryptocurrency market is to purchase coins from an exchange. It’s important to review the exchanges with as much scrutiny as the coins. These are the exchanges I use
Shakepay. For converting my Canadian dollars to bitcoin or ethereum. I’ll keep more bitcoin then ethereum on Shakepay.
Once I have the bitcoin I transfer to my exchange wallets to purchase other cryptocurrency.
Poloniex, a descent mobile app and very intuitive environment, political in listing requirements.
Bittrex, new mobile site, more coin selection, less political.
I transfer my coins to my wallets.
